What is misai kucing?

MisaiKucing or botanical name Orthosiphonstamineus, Benth is a medicinal plant, native in the Southeast Asia, namely, Malaysia, Indonesia, Phillipines, Brunei and Thailand and some parts of tropical Australia. MisaiKucing began to attract researchers as early as the beginning of the 20th century when the plant was introduced to Europe and became a popular herbal tea known as ‘Java Tea.’
